Wildflowers - Tickseed and Monkshood

Show Me Your Mississippi is a website where members share photos of anything living, growing or built in our State.

One photographer shares wonderful wildlife photos. I have seen several that inspired me to paint. I contacted her and asked permission to use one of her photos as a reference. She was thrilled to be asked and gladly granted the favor.

I have used several of her photos and am pleased to say that I have won ribbons with these paintings in local juried shows.
