Yes, I know it is close to Valentine's Day, but really that is the name of this creek!

This is a painting of the scene if you looked out my childhood home in Md, right down from Annapolis. It was so much fun growing up right at the water's edge.

The off white area in the left background use to be larger. It was sand and clay. As children we use to row the boat over there and collect the clay. Upon returning home we made our own spa with clay all over our body. Lol.

Anyway I loved painting it with the fall foliage.

Hi Linda - I love the colours that you've chosen ... the orange / blue complementary colours really gives the painting some zing!
