My sister has a beach house in Jeffrey's Bay, South Africa (right by the Supertubes, for the surfers).

I took a photo of a little arrangement she had on a glass table. I simply loved the image, with its different textures and reflections. However, it was so difficult to paint!

I tried to keep Mark's general principles of painting water in mind, and I must say, I am very happy with the end result!

Really like this painting! Good composition, lovely colours and atmosphere and I really like the reflections too. Well done ... bet it was difficult to paint.
