Sunset Breeze

This is from a photo I took at the beach in Santa Rosa, Florida. I haven't been painting long, less than a year.

I got "hooked" after attending a few of those paint and sip parties. Thus far I am self-taught, however I have recently retired so I will now be able to spend more time watching instructional videos etc.

Hopefully I will see my artistic talent blossom. The stack of discarded canvases against the wall waiting to be re-used is much to large!

Delightful - good job. Have painted on and off (mostly off) fir years, but now also retired and getting into the swing of things.
Your painting inspires me. By chance my current piece is a sunset from a photo I took years ago at Key West, Florida.
Keep it up - am also teaching myself at this point. Here's to more painting fun !!

What caught my attention right away is the feeling of the wind gently blowing the grasses. You can feel the Florida sea breeze. Well captured!

I love this painting. I feel I could just reach out and touch the grasses. Its so uncluttered and clear and free so that the sky, sea and grasses get the main attention. The colours of the leaves at the bottom with their shadows are great. I just love the whole painting. It gives a lovely feeling. Good Luck with the next lot.
