I love painting!!!

I have usually worked in watercolours and sketching but I decided recently to expand my horizons.

I started painting with acrylics in February 2016 and explore my obsession with birch trees.

This will be one in a series of 4 (May, July and September to follow).

Hopefully I'll get better as I go 😬

It is a large painting. I forgot to include the dimensions when I uploaded the picture. It's 18"x36" on a deep edge stretched canvas.

I love it. Such a nice contrast between the sky and birch tree bark. It looks like it's about a meter tall too? Good choice :)
