I love trying to capture the colours and transparency of waves

Always always loved the sea, life long dream was to live by the sea. After retiring at 60 and buying a dream home at Sandgate, Kent, England overlooking the sea, I wanted lots of paintings of the sea to put on my walls.

Soon found they were too expensive, and didn’t like a lot of them. So I started looking at YouTube videos. I was completely useless at art, but I can follow basic instructions.

The attached are some of first paintings. I need a lot more practice, but I am proud enough that these are hanging on my walls !

 Your first sea scapes off Kent UK NEW

I think they are brilliant and the light is dancing in all the right places. When I retired I moved close by the Seven Sisters in East Sussex UK. I too painted - lots of ‘cliff scapes’ and a few have made it into my walls. Keep going.
