I often visit my sister in Costa Rica where she and her husband live. They have a vacation destination business. People come to stay at one of the homes they own or manage, it includes an excursion - one of my favorites is going in a small boat with our guide Miguel through the mangrove.
I find it so relaxing to drift down the river slowly, and I get excited when we spot the monkey during feeding time as they hop into the boat, eating the pieces of banana from our hands, or when we spot an alligator sunbathing with its mouth open on a boulder.
Oh, and when it starts to rain the drops make their own symphony. This painting is my favorite sister's excursion.
