Mountain Glow

I have always loved drawing and painting but just recently really gotten into it.

I started last November 2014, watching YouTube videos to learn how to use brushes and some tips on how to paint.

I followed along a couple videos to learn. Then just started painting. It's been so fun - so relaxing.

I appreciate all the videos and helpful tips to make a beginner painter's experience easier and enjoyable. Thank you.

Here is my latest painting I did today (Mountain Glow,April 1st 2015).☺

I am so proud of you Teresa! It is amazing to see how far you have come in just a couple of months! I always knew you were an artist and had great talent but to see it come to life on the canvas is inspirational and exciting! I'm so blessed to be able to watch you grow!

Teresa there are no words for the joy I am feeling as a mother to watch God's gift take off in you. I know all will think I am prejudice because you are my daughter, but truly everyone I show your paintings to are amazed, as am I. This particular painting MOUNTAIN GLOW shows new colors and technique, on a first attempt. AMAZING!! Truly thrilled to watch where God will lead you in all this. I've also watched as your creative talent and skills have developed in the last while. Your paintings truly amaze me! Each one is very different and expressive. One thing I especially like is how colorful they are and how they often give a sense of motion with wind and waves. Keep at it, Teresa!

I am privileged enough to get to see all the pieces of art that you do. One of the things I like about this painting is the colours you used for the sky and how the texture of the mountains turned out. You've come a long way in such a short time; keep at it you are doing great!
